How many times have I bought avocado to use in a DIY mask, only to end up eating it? It happens most of the time…but not this time (I win!). Avocados are one of those foods that your hair and skin LOVE. Yes, avocado for skin and hair is amazing! So, I passed on the guac and instead tried Tone It Up: DIY Avocado Hair and Face Mask.

Avocado oil also acts as an emollient, promoting soft skin, due to its chemical properties and ability to retain water. Avocado oil also contains sterolins, which helps to produce more skin collagen and reduce age spots.
So pick up extra avocados during your next grocery visit and enjoy both your Sunday Football guac dip and your beauty mask. Your hair and skin will thank you for it.
